arrived safely and in good spirits, here in madison on
the glorious Fourth. am established, or rather billetted in
one
of
the
new
University
Halls
for
men.

am enclosing expense account and also the carbon copies of
letters which Barker harided me on the boat I have
written my bank in Columbia. mo, the Boone Currenty National
Bank, to mail you a mew york draft of 139 = 60 to square
our accounts. In case this draft does not come to you
within the next few days please advise me, and d shall
have hers. 3 Schlundt make a visit to the bank in
Columbia.
Spent most of the day of the Frourth ingetting caught up
work here.
