Dear mr. Lee,-
arrived safely and in good spirits, here in madis on
the glorious Fourth. am established, or rather billetted in
one of the new University Halls for men. Note ad dress in heading.
above.
am enclosing expense account, and also the carbon copies of
letters which Barker havided me on the boat. I have
written my bank in Columbia. mo, the Boone County National
Bank, to mail you a new york draft of 139= 60 to square
our accounts. dn case this draft does not come to you
within the next few days please advise me, and d shall
have hers. & chlundt make a visit to the bank in
Columbia:
Spent most of the day of the Fourth ingetting caught up
work here.
in sleep, and am now feeling fit to begin my summer
with very good wishes, d remain,
