July 12th,1929. Dr. James Ewing, Department of Pathology, Cornell University Medical College, First Ave. and 28th St., N.Y.C. Dear Dr. Ewing: Please find enclosed our check in the amount of $100.00, to reimburse you for legal fees for Dr. Craver, Dr. Fialla and yourself relative to the recent hearing in New York. We certainly regret that you were put to all this annoyance and trouble and wish to do our part by standing the necessary expense to which you were put. Glad to note that Dr. Krumbhaar has apparent- ly had a change of heart. It is too bad that he did not see the light before the recent "burlesque". Very truly yours, President. CBLee:RH enclosure
