DIVISION OF OCCUPATIONAL DISEASES
STANLEY H. OSBORN, M.D., C.P.H.
ALBERT S. GRAY, M.D., CHIEF
STATE OF CONNECTICUT
DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH
HARTFORD

Mr. Howard H. Barker
U. S. Radium Corporation
30 Church St.
New York City
Dear Mr. Barker:
At the suggestion of Mr. Knowles, we
are requesting that you send us copies of
your two papers entitled "Radioactive De-
terminations on Post-Mortem Specimens, 11 and
"The Detection and Estimation of Radium and
Mesothorium in Living Specimens".
As you know, much of the application
of radioactive materials to watch and clock
dials is carried on in this state. Conse-
quently, we are much interested in keeping
up to the minute on the most recent advances
in connection with the prevention of pathological
changes which may occur in the workers handling
this material. Consequently, we shall greatly
appreciate not only the papers referred to,
but reprints of further papers which you may
publish.
Thanking you for this favor,
Very truly yours,
alberts gray Gray,
Chief, Division of Occupational Diseases.
