August 12th,1929.
Dr. E. B. Krumbhaar,
West Falmouth,
Mass.
Dear Dr. Krumbhaar:
Please accept our thanks for your letter,
which arrived on August 9th.
We have hed no communication, either directly
or indirectly from Mr. Berry since we all last not in New York.
Therefore, your suggestion of a means for handling future
possible "rodium poisoning" cases has not been fully considered.
We much appreciate your good intentions in
this regard and agree that there certainly must be some way to
eliminate litigation and publicity in the future, such as
surrounded the five cases settled a year ago - but knowing
Mr. Berry as we do we are fearful that such a program might
be difficult of accomplishment. However, we have a perfectly
open mind in the matter and would be glad to consider any
program which looked promising.
We hope you will find 1t convenient to pay
us a visit the first time you bappen to be coming to New York.
Cordially yours,
President.
