UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA SCHOOL OF CHEMISTRY SEP 181929 MINNEAPOLIS OFFICE OF THE DEAN September 16, 1929 Mr. H. H. Barker, U.S. Radium Corporation, 535 Pearl Street, New York Dear Barker: I am attending a conference in Washington on Monday, September 23. On Thursday, September 26, I am due in Princeton for the dedication of the new Chemistry Building. I shall be there on the 27th and part of the morning of the 28th, when I have to return directly to Minneapolis. The two intervening days, Tuesday and Wednesday, September 24 and 25, are not yet finally disposed of. If I am unable to run down to North Carolina to visit my mother for those two days, I could come to New York and would be glad to see you again, as requested in your letter. I will let you know as soon as my plans are matured. With best regards, Sincerely yours S. C. Lind, Director. SCL/CS
