Dr. R, B. Moore,
Purdue University,
Lafayette, Indiana.
Dear Dr. Moore:
Your letter of September 27th, is at hand
and, I am sorry that I gained no information while abroad
which might be of value to you as regards your editorial
in the Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry.
Indirectly I do know that this editorial
was called to the attention of the people in Bengium and
that they were more or less concerned regarding same, but
to what extent this aroused their concern I cannot say.
I did not intend to visit the Belgian
people while abroad, therefore, have nothing new to relate.
Unfortunately Madem Curie was out of Paris during the time
that we were there, but I received a nice note from her
stating that she regrated her absence as she would have
been glad to see me had she been in the City.
Are you planning on being East during the
visit of Madam Curie to this Country? In case you are
we hope that we may have the pleasure of a visit with you.
With kind regards, I am
Cordially yours,
HHBarker:RH
