UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI COLUMBIA DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY OCT 211929 October 17, 1929 Mr. H. H. Barker, U. S. Radium Corp., 535 Pearl Street, New York City, N. Y. My dear Howard: Two weeks have now passed since I wrote to Mr. W. A. Curtis at his home address, Ashland, New Hampshire, with- out having received a reply. I mentioned to him that we would like to get from his records an estimate of the quantity of Radithor Water which he had used since 1925. We also suggested a plan of conducting a series of experiments to determine the rate at which he is eliminating radium and mesothorium. In this letter we stated that you and Mr. Lee would doubt- lessly be further interested in these experiments, and that you would do your part in cooperating. Have you had any word from Mr. Curtis since he came back from Europe? With very good wishes, I remain Sincerely yours, Herman Schlundt HS:RA Herman Schlundt
