UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI
COLUMBIA
DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY
NOV 151929
November 13, 1929
Mr. H. H. Barker,
United States Radium Corp.,
535 Pearl Street,
New York, N. Y.
My dear Howard:
Our C. & A. arrived in Centralia on time about four-thirty
in the morning, and at seven o'clock I made my appearance at
the house; I had to make quite a noise at the coor to be let
in. At nine o'clock I met the freshman class in chemistry
as usual. I hope you had a restful ride, and that you arrived
safely at home on Monday evening.
I have had plenty to do since my return, as I am chairman
of the University committee to make the Red Cross Roll Call.
Tomorrow I shall have to go to St. Louis for a day at least,
to discharge my duties as secretary of the Science Section
of the Missouri State Teachers Association.
Enclosed is bill for my traveling expenses. It is made out
on the regular University form, but I hope this will be satis-
factory for your purposes.
With very kind regards, I remain
Sincerely yours,
Herman Schlundt
