Dr. Herman Schlundt,
University of Missouri,
Columbia, lío.
Dear Dr, Schlundt:
I am today sending to the American Journal of
Roentgenology the corrected statement on radium in living persons,
and hope that they will accept it for publication. The
corrections which you indicated have been incorporated, and
I
want to thank you for suggesting them
I received a few lines from Dr. Lind indicating
that he expects to be in Columbia about February 13th, and I hope
that by that time you will have completed your perusal of the
compilation of articles which I gave you when in New York, and that
you will be ready to turn these over to Dr. Lind at the time of his
visit.
Matters with reference to going to trial on March
10th and 25th, respectively are progressing along normal lines, and
we hope to be ready at that time. Or Monday,February 24th,
we
expect to take depositions from Dr. Bowing of Mayo Clinic, Dr.
Pohle of Madison, Wis., and Dr. Stevens of Detroit, relative to the
internal use of radium chloride as late as 1925 and later.
Should you have any suggestions in regard to the
setting up of the defense for these suits we should be nore than
glad to hear from you.
Sincerely yours,
Vice President.
