February 20th,1930. Dr. Herman Schlundt, University of Missouri, Columbia, Mo. Dear Dr. Schlundt: Under separate cover we are sending you a small specimen of zinc sulphide which contains no appreciable amount of radium - that is in fact it contains no radium except that which has accidentally come in contact with the zinc sulphide during the course of its being handled in our laboratories. , Mr. Smith, Mr. Markley myself are going to Chicago on Monday to take the depositions of Drs. Pohle, Stevens and Fishbein. While we are proceding with the preparation for the trial of these various cases, still we are at the same time putting forth every effort to work out a means whereby they may be settled, and I am still hopeful, although progress seems rather slow. I shall be interested in the suggestions that you may have as to the exhibit for the Court in this matter. Sincerely yours, Vice President. HHBarker:RH
