amounting to $2666.67 from the Globe Indemnity Company, enclosed
in your letter of March 18th, covoring the Globe Indemnity Company's
contribution to the settlement of the above named case.

acknowledging your check for $474.69, in payment of Smith's,
Mr. Barker's and your expenses for the trip to Chicago Fobruary
