Gentlemen: In connection with my letter of March 27th, I mas adviso that Nro. Hughes called at our office agein on Priday April 4th, and we discussed further the matter of her becoming affiltated with our activities in connection with the testing of posaible now radium cases for the presence of radioactivity, especially with reference to the Meta and Tuck cases. Ers. Hughes expresse. her millingness to cooperate with us in this matter, and abe thoroughly undarstands that in the exont se desire to retain her the may or may not be called upon to ronder active service. In discussing the subject with her she asked that her connection with us would be in this matter and I advised her that I would present the untter to our counsel recommend that thoy enlist her servicos by retaining her at this that I would furthor suggest that she be paid a rotainers 1. 00. This, as you know, is in accordance with what we di your office on the afternoon of March 26th. I believe that it would be qui der for you to give this matter inmediate consideration in e au decide to retain l's.
