April 7th,1930.
Dr. S. C. Lind,
University of Minnesota,
Minneapolis,
Minn.
Dear Dr. Lind:
Your letter of April 3rd, is at hand, and I am
pleased to advise you at this time that our legal cases will
not come up during the week of April 22nd - it is possible that
they will not come up for trial before next Fall.
lie appeared before the Court asking for a Struck
Jury as well as complete medical examination, including x-rays
etc., and the Court felt that we should have such exeminations.
These requests were granted this morning, and in-
asmuch as it will be impossible to impanel a Struck Jury in
less than thirty days it is obvious that trial will have to be
postponed. One delay often occasions another, and it is for
this reason we feel it is quite probable that these cases will
not come up for some weeks if not months to come. As soon as
we have definite information as to the date when these cases
will be tried we shall communicate with you to ascertain
at that time whether or not you will be available.
Thanking you for your interest in our behalf,
I am
Sincerely yours,
Vice President.
