OFFICE OF THE DEAN

Mr. H. H. Barker
United States Radium Corporation
APR 21 1930
535 Pearl St.
New York City
My dear Barker:
Thank you for your letter of recent date. As
far as I can tell now it will probably be possible
for me to attend the trial provided it is before
September 1 and I am given reasonable notice. I am
tied up completely during the month of September as
I have to be here during the first few weeks of
school. It might be possible for me to get off in
October.
I understand the delays under such circumstances
and I know they cannot be prevented. I am sending
you a bill for my services when I was in New York
and also for time spent on literature, etc. sent
me by you. I am putting down one-half day for each
of these services. I will still be glad to credit
the retaining fee on the trial in quest ion provided
it is put at a time when I can attend.
With kind regards,
Sincerely yours,
nem me
