CLEMENT K. CORBIN ROBERT J. BAIN
EDWARD A. MARKLEY CHARLES W. BROADHURST
1 EXCHANGE PLACE,
HOWARD F. MC INTYRE
JERSEY CITY, N.J.
FRANK A. BOEHLER
JAMES B. EMORY
PATRICK F. MC DEVITT
FRANK P. CLANCY
JOHN F. LEONARD
May 22, 1930.
Ruth Winters (Mrs. Ruth Saxer V. U.S. Radium)
H. H. Barker, Esq.,
V.P. United States Radium Corp.
535 Pearl Street,
New York City.
Dear Mr. Barker:
Replying to your letter of the 19th in the
above, please be advised that in my opinion this case should
be called to the attention of the companies covering it. My
firm has no general retainer from either the Aetna or the
Globe and therefore we are not authorized to speak in any
case unless authorized by the company.
Apparently Mrs. Saxer was employed from
the Summer of 1917 to about April, 1921. You should therefore
give notice to each company on the risk during that period
with the request that the matter be referred to the companies'
attorneys for action.
EAM:AG
ele.mircley Yours very truly,
