June 5th,1930. Dr. Robert E. Humphries, c/o New Jersey Orthopaedic Hospital and Dispensary, 179 Lincoln Ave., Orange, N.J. Dear Dr. Humphries: It is quite probable that we would like to have Dr. Herman Schlundt, of the University of Missouri, make electroscopic tests on Mrs. Saxer either June 18th or 19th, and we would appreciate it if you will ascertain whether Mrs. Saxer will be available on these dates. Dr. Schlundt will be doing some work at the Presbyterian Hospital in New York on June 17th, and in case Mrs. Saxer would care to report at the Presbyterian Hospital that probably would be the best place to make the examination - however, in case that she would feel better about having it made at the New Jersey Orthopaedic Hospital we are sure Dr. Schlundt can arrange to make the tests there. I will get in touch with you the early part of next week to definitely arrange for the electroscopic tests. We have discussed the matter of settling the Saxer case without litigation and hope to be able to give you more definite information along this line within the next few days. Sincerely yours, Vice President. HHBarker:RH
