UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI COLUMBIA DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY June 7, 1930 Mr. H. H. Barker U. S.Radium Corporation 535 Pearl Street New York City JUN 9 1930 My dear Barker: While I should like to make a start late Friday night so às to arrive in Newark on Sunday, still I may not be able to get all of the work done which I have planned to do before leaving, and I may have to wait over here in Columbia until late Saturday night which will bring me into New York on Monday, which I hope still affords suf- ficient time for us to make tests on the instruments to be used. May I inquire whether the Wülf-Hess Gamma Ray Instrument which was used by the Public Health investigators will be available to us for some tests? If I can arrange to start late on Friday and SO get to Newark on Sunday, I shall let you know in sufficient time, for I should like to have a little time with you before going to Dr. Flinn's laboratory on Monday. With very good wishes, I remain Yours sincerely, Herman Schlundt Herman Schlundt. HS/GMA.
