July 2nd,1930. Tile Safer case Mr. E. A. Markley, c/o Collins & Corbin, 1 Exchange Pl., Jersey City, N.J. Dear Mr. Markley: I am herewith sending you copy of report rendered by Dr. Lloyd F. Craver, as a result of his examination at the New Jersey Orthopedic Hospital on June 30th,1930. Dr. Craver also sent us a bill for $100.00 for this work which we are paying. You will note that according to our discussion Dr. Craver has suggested that further x-ray films be taken, and that a blood count and urine examination be made. There is some question in my mind whether any further expense should be incurrred in establishing the merits of this case. It seems to me that we have sufficient information now and that any further data will not change our final opinion materially - if such is the case we probably are in a position to discuss sèttlement. I am leaving town tomorrow and expect to be gone for about two weeks, but Mr. Lee is fully posted regarding this matter. Very truly yours, Vice President. HHBarker:RH enclosure
