Barker, 535 Pearl Street, New York City. Dear Dr. Barker: I have not heard from you for some time except indirectly through Dr. Schlundt. He was in to see me last Friday and left four samples to be ashed and forwarded to him in Missouri. I have taken care of this work and have forwarded the samples, and at his suggestion am enclosing herewith my statement for the work. It seems as though he is assisting you on a never ending problem and I know that you and he will both be much relieved if you can once bring the matter to some sort of final settlement.
