Dr. Herman Schlundt,
University of Mirrouri,
Columbia, Mo.
Dear Dr. Schlundt:
There are ordinarily two adhesives
used for application of luminous materials to clock,
watch dials etc., namely - water adhesive and oil
adhesive.
The base of the water adhesive is
gum arabic, and the base of the oil adhesive is gum
mastic.
I am wondering if you have ever seen
in filma which are offered for educational institutions
anything depicting the action of radium or the rays
amitited therefrom - either in the nature of physical,
chemical or biological reaction. I would appreciate
any information along this line which might enable
me to trace down a source of something along this line.
Sincerely yours,
HHBarker:R}
