Dr. Frederick B. Flinn,
College of Physicians & Surgeons,
632 W. 168th St.,
N.Y.C.
Dear Dr. Flinn:
This will acknowledge receipt of your letter
of October 21st, enclosing correspondence relative to the
final publication of the work done by the U.S. Department of
Health, which I have read with much interest.
Apparently the matter is taken care of in an
entirely satisfactory way for the moment, insofar as Dr.
Thompson has agreed to place in the hands of the Clock
Companies a copy of his report before sending same to the
printer. I think that this is all we could expect in
this matter.
I am sending this letter by messenger, as
well as the gamma ray instrument.
My delay in returning this instrument to
you has been occasioned by the fact that we have not had a
messenger boy until today. I trust that the delay has
caused you no great inconvenience.
Very truly yours,
Vice President.
