December 17th, 1930. Dr. Herman Schlundt, University of Missouri, Columbia, No. Dear Dr. Schlundt: Dr. Turner has been from time to time shipping you ignited speciments of the four girls who are being given a course of parathermone and egesterol treat- ment. I don't know whether you have had an opportunity to make radioactive tests upon any of these specimens or not, but the thought has occured to me that in most instances Dr. Turner is igniting a galon or more of urine, and in case you do not require the total ignited sample for your tests, we might eliminate some of the work by teking an aliquot part of these specimens and drying. To date you should have received three sets of specimens, and one prdor to treatment , one following first series of parathormone treatments, and one at the conclusion of the first series of egesterol. Beginning at the end of this week they will start the second series of parathormone treatment. I suggested to Dr. Craver some little time ago that he write you regarding this matter, but have not checked this any further. I trust that these samples have been properly received and that you are making progress with the analysis. Sincerely yours, HHBarker:RF Vice President. Note: The sample of feces shipped by Dr. Turner during this week is of Catherine Schaub, collected December 7th to 10th. I believe the sample was not properly labeled.
