December 20,1930. Dr. S. C. Lind, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minn. Dear Dr. Lind: I sew Dr. Moore yesterday, and also had a talk with both Dr. Craver and Dr. Failla at Memorial Hospital. I am sorry to report that his condition is not particularly favorable. Dr. Moore was in a state of coma a goodly part of the day before and not any too clear in his mind yesterday. They gave him a rather mild radium treat- ment on Wednesday evening and felt that the reaction was such that they would have to proceed very cautiously with any further radiation. Mrs. Moore seemed to feel that his condition was due largely to change in medical care rather than the effects of the radiation, and I don't believe that the men at Memorial have endeavored to advise her otherwise. Dr. Moore has been very anxious for Dr. Burnham's consultation with regard to his case, and the staff at Memorial have endeavored to have Dr. Burnham come to New York, but are advised he is at the moment confined to his home thru illness. The outlook is not anny too bright. Sincerely yours, HHBarker:RH copy sent to Dr. Schlundt
