OFFICE OF THE DEAN
Dr. H. H. Barker
United States Radium Corporation
535 Pearl Street
New York City
Dear Barker:
Many thanks for your letter of December 20 in regard to
Dr. Moore. I am very much disappointed to get such discour-
aging news, and I hope that there has been some improvement
since then. I will appreciate it if you will keep me informed
of his condition from time to time.
I presume that the reaction resulting from the first ra-
dium treatment was due to the destruction of abnormal cells.
I am informed that normal brain cells are very resistant to
radiation.
Sincerely yours,
A. C Lind
S. C. Lind,
Director.
