Dr. Humphries, therefore, folt justified in calling the case to our attention with the bope that it could be sottled out of court. Dr. Humphries indicated that Saox has not discuased her condition to any extent with people other than hinself, and would zuch prefer not to do ao, unless it bacoras necaspary in order to protect ber rights. is was unable to get a detailed history of Bra. Saox, auch as dates of her exployment, her maiden and past history, but Dr. told me that if I would call his by Tobone some tire the middle ox latter part of next weak be would be glad to givo this information to " In teying to find out what Humprics felt would be a fair coapensation for Krs. Saox be indicated that a settlezent sixilar to that effected with the five girla two years ago this June, he felt would be quite in order. beliove that you Succeoded in getting acrosa to hin the fact that ** would nevor enter into any agressent such as that entered into mith the five casos regarding ennaities, and that any settlement effected would have to bo a flat ount I also indieated that I felt 10,000 rather ample for a légitimate caso with total disability, and that in my perponal opinion the nost such a osse ahould excect to get would be that alloxed by compensation.
