Please be advised that Mr. Hanlon, claim
adjuster in the above case, was in to see me several times
and we have had a number of lengthy conferences in regard
to a possible settlement of this case. I think I have
finally persuaded him that he ought to take the $3000. we
offered. He is to let me know definitely some day this
week. I shall keep you advised.
