UNIVERSITY OF missouri COLUMBIA DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY March 5, 1931. Mr. H. H. Barker MAR 9 1931 United States Radium Corporation 535 Pearl Street New York City, New York My dear Barker: We now have Horace Thomas, a graduate stu- dent in the School of Medicine, at work looking up the literature on radium poisoning or rather in a broader field, the physiological effects of radium injected intravenously and otherwise taken into the system. I am calling for a little help on the references. I have made abstracts of some of the papers which you compiled for possible use in the radium cases. At the time when we got this you sent to us two publica- tions of the United States Radium Corporation, giving a full list of references to the therapeutic uses of radium. These two volumes we are unable to find and I hope that you will be kind enough, if you still have these in stock, to send along one copy of each volume. Thanking you for this favor, I remain, Sincerely yours, Herman Schlundt Herman Schlundt. hs.as
