bohm. MAR 17 1931 March 16 1931. Dr. Hermann Schlundt, University of Missouri, Columbia, No. Dear Doctor Schlundt: I received your short note from Washington written after our joint examination of Mrs Metz. I an sorry that we did not have more time to talk things over as there were several questions that I wanted to discuss with you then. It may interest you in connection with your article written with Mr Barker to know that I was sent two patients the other day, very wealthy peo- ple, who had taken Bailey's medicine and are now radio-active 8. year after the last dose. One showed a radio-active contents of 34.5 micrograms and the other 43. Both of them are Juffering from the same jaw conditions that is found among the dial painters. This makes five of his clients and I am expecting to examine another one with the same Jan condition. I also had one of the surgeons here in town send me a girl to take care of who worked for the Radium Dial Co., in Chicago who is suffering from bone changes and can hardly walk. She only contains approximately 15 micrograms. But I thought you might be interessed in the two cases. Yours sincerely T.B.Ten
