Gentlemen:
I represent Mr. and Mrs. Vincent La Porte who
have consulted me with reference to a claim against your
Company for damages arising out of the radium poisoning
from which it is claimed Mrs. La Porte is now suffering.
She was employed in your plant in 1917, under her
maiden name, Irene F. Corby. I understand she is now
seriously ill
Will you kindly indicate to me whether or not you
desire to settle the claim without the necessity of suit.
