June 12th,1931. Dr. James P. Leake, Room 1-123 C. Bldg. 16th Seventh St. S.W. Wash. D.C. Dear Dr. Leake: I have read a copy of your paper on radium poisoning, presented before the Medical Society in Phils. on June 10th. Tie feel that you have delt with the subject in an eminently fair manner, and believe that the work of the Department of Public Heslth should be constructive, in that it will indicate possible hazards in the industry other than the practice of pointing the brush with the lips. When the clock companies are fully aware of what the other hazards may be, 1 an sure that they will be only too willing to give their fullest cooporation towards eliminating them. Sincerely yours, Vice President. HHBarker:RH
