My dear Barker:
Anticipating the need of ionization
chambers which will probably confront us when we plan
to make the tests at Elgin, I wonder whether or not
you would consider it advisable for me to write to Dr.
Flinn for the loan of two chambers, the natural drifts
of which are still very low. We have several Lind
heads but our chambers, I fear, have a drift of about
one small division per minute, which may be a little
high for very refined work.
Sincerely yours,
Herman Schlundt
