Collins & Corbin,
1 Exchange Place,
Jersey City, N.J.
Hoare VS. U.S.Radium Corporation
Gentlemen:
We have your letter of January 19th on the above subject.
I have reviewed the case to date, and from all available
information it looks as if this is a very week one from the standpoint
of the plaintiff. I certainly trust you are successful in the argu-
ment of the motion coming up on January 22nd.
Regarding the interrogatories which we are herewith returning:
It will be impossible to give you first hand information on these, since
at the time Mrs. Hoare claims to have worked for us, the making of the
zinc sulphide luminous material and various adhesives was done by
Dr. Sochocky, whom as you know died two or three years ago. I could
answer them based on information and belief, which would be as follows:
1. Zinc sulphide and radium
2. (a) Gum arabic and water
(b) Gum mastic, gum demar, oil of rosemary and
rectified terpentine
3. Yes
4. No
5. No information regarding employment of Mrs. Hoare as we
have no records covering same.
Very truly yours,
President.
