one microgram of radium element in the system per annum. As you realize
these figures are only approximate and are based upon several assumptions.
Personally I do not feel that there is much danger connected with
the use of water charged with radon. For your information I may say that
Mr. Byers consumed Radithor in rather voluminous amounts, probably in all
drinking between three and five milligrans of radioactive constituents over
a comparatively short period of tine. He was a great believer in the
rejuvenation attributes of radium.
