of the brush in the mouth and the application of the paint to the
surface of various objects.
10. Miss Carey and Miss Smith as far as plaintiff
can presently remember.
11. In the Spring of 1924. Paint was applied by
means of a brush which was pointed with the lips in accordance
with instructions previously given to the plaintiff. The
powder furnished by the defendant was mixed with liquids in a
crucible and the brush was pointed with the lips and the paint
was applied by means of the brush to the surfages to be painted
and then the brush was pointed with the lips and so on until the
work was completed, and the plaintiff was instructed so to do
by Miss Carey and Miss Smith.
12. Plaintiff left the employ of defendent in the
Spring of 1924 end has not been engaged in commercial employment.
She was married and has since been occupied as a housewife.
13. Plaintiff is unable to say definitely when the
first symptoms occurred because she did not learn until shortly
before starting suit the true nature of her illness.
14. Plaintiff has experienced pain in the teeth and
jaw, the right arm became affected and the right hip. The
teeth became affected and upon extraction unhealed wounds were
left and the sockets exuded a pussy discharge which continues
to date. The jaw bone has become affected resulting in a decay-
ing process which has become progressively worse and appears
in several places. The toeth became loosened some of which
can be removed by the fingers. These symptoms have been accom-
panied by loss of weight, pain in the jaw, teeth, right arm and
right hip. The glands in plaintiff's nock have been seriously
affected and plaintiff is suffering from loss of weight, nerv-
