My dear Mr. Barker:-
Mrs. St. Clair of the Mountain View Rest
sends a letter of explanation of the charges
for transportation of Miss Schaub during
August. It is clear that this transportation
was necessary and should be paid for. The
only possible escape is for you to write Miss
Schaub and insist that she pay the charges for
transportation out of her allowance. I am not
sure this effort is wholly desirable, perhaps
we had better pay the bill because the time
is getting short.
I enclose other bills which seem 0. K.
