Re: LaPorte V. U.S. Radium Corp.
My dear Mr. Lee:
You will remember in the above matter the
case was brought after the death of Mrs. LaPorte, SO that
there was no opportunity of making physical or electroscopic
examinations. It was necessary, therefore, that we have
investigation made with a view to discovering as much of the
physical condition of the decedent at the time of her death,
and for some time prior thereto, as we could. It was de-
termined, therefore, to have Dr. Joseph M. Rector look up the
medical data. This was done.
We enclose herewith a copy of Dr. Rector's
report, together with his bill. I forward the bill to you
because Mr. Markley tells me that your company will pay the
same out of the fund maintained for that purpose.
