UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA SCHOOL OF CHEMISTRY MINNEAPOLIS JAN A 1950 OFFICES OF THE DEAN January 2, 1934. AND THE DIRECTOR Mr. H. H. Barker, Vice President, United States Radium Corporation, 535 Pearl Street, New York, N. Y. Dear Barker: Ever since returning from New York I have wondered how the trial proceeded during the final week. I hope that everything went well and that you will get a favorable decision when it comes out. I suppose that win or lose you will never know what the deciding points were in the judge's mind. I had the impression that he was getting a very favorable view of your side of the case. How did your own testimony go and that of Dr. Schlundt and others who testified during the last week? I hope that there was nothing out of my testimony that came up to plague you later. Please give my best regardsto Mr. Lee as well as to Mr. Markley and Mr. Smith. I particularly enjoyed seeing more of Mr. Smith than I had on previous visits. I enclose an account of my expenses of the trip and the bill for professional services. With best regards and wishing you a happy new year, Sincerely yours, S.l. find S. C. Lind, SCL:LL Director. Enc.
