Dr. S. C, Lind,
University of Minnesots,
Minneepolis, Minn.
Dear Dr. Lind:
Thanks for your letter of March 9th ex-
prossing your willingness to assist us in our pending
suit, the date for which has been set as June 4th, 1954.
lihile it is true that we have little or
no control over the court's pleasure in these matters,
still we are quite reliably informed that the Judge who
is to sit in this case proposes to do so on June 4th and
continue hearings until the case has been completed. Un-
less the plaintiff's attorney aska for a postponement, or
something unforeseen happens, we expect to go to trial on
this date and will probably require your services in New
York on or about June 5th.
We shall, however, write you further on this
subject as the time for trial approaches.
Sincerely yours,
HHBarker:
Vice-President
