MC DEVITT JOHN F. LEONARD JAMES J. LANGAN ADOLPH s. HUMMEL CHARLES H. SCHAFER ENOS A. PYLE RAYMOND J. LAMB EARLE J. HARRINGTON May 9, 1934. fil Shea V. U. S. Radium Corp. La Porte V. U. S. Radium Corp. H. H. Barker, Esq. Vice Pres. United States Radium Corp. 535 Pearl Street, New York City. Dear Mr. Barker: Herewith copy of stipulation in each of the above cases. I understand from our telephonic talk that May 21st is agreeable to these doctors. We shall have to plan to leave on Sunday, May 20th. Our adversary refuses to permit us to use the testimony previously taken and we will have to take all the tes timony over again. Neverthe- less, I think you should send to each of these doctors a copy of the testimony so that they will be fully prepared and their memories entirely refreshed. Herewith our only copy of the testimony which of course should be returned to us. I assume that you will arrange for the necessary transportation and hotel raccommoda- tions at Chicago as. you did previously. You can advise us in advance the train and the time of leaving. It probably would be more convenient for us to go on the Pennsylvania from Newark or Manhattan Transfer, rather than from New York City on the New York Central However, if you prefer to make your arrangements from the New York Central, that is perfectly agreeable. I understood from our last trip that you believed we could have had better accommodations on the New York Central. Of course if that is so we will go on the New York Central. Herewith copy of memorandum of what Mr. Smith and I did in regard to stipulating of the previous testimony. I thought you had better have a copy for your file. Yours very truly, EAM:AG Elizabeth
