Hon. Philip Forman,
United States District Attorney,
Post Office Building,
Trenton, N. J.
Dear Mr. Forman:
The a bove is the equity suit against the United
States Radium Corporation in which Mr. Emmerglick and Mr. Unger
appear for the plaintiff and this firm and Messrs. Edwards,
Smith & Dawson appear for the defendant. Two of the outstand-
ing radium men in the country, namely, Dr. Linn and Dr. Schlundt
will be attending a week's conference at Cleveland of the
American Chemical Society of which they are both members during
the week of September 10th. It is probable that our case will
last more than a week. However, if it should not, may we have
it understood that the testimony of these doctors can be taken
at a later date than the week of September 10th, otherwise
we shall have to apply for a different trial date, since we
did not know when September 10th was fixed that the doctors
would not be available and have found that out since.
I am sending a copy of this letter to Mr. Emmer-
glick and Mr. Smith.
With kindest personal r egards,
Sincerely yours,
EAM: AG
