August 8, 1934. Mr. Edwin F. Smith, $Edwards, Smith & Dawson, 1 Exchange Place, Jersey City, N. J. Mr. Edward A. Markley, SCollins & Corbin, 1 Exchange Place, Jersey City, N. J. Re: Le Porte VS U. 3. Redium Corp. Gentlemen: I beg to acknowledge receipt of Hr. Harkley's letters of August 1st and August 6th relative to date set for the trial of the above referred to case. I assume from those letters that we will not definitely know prior to early in September whether it will be necessary for us to go to trial on September 17th or if the Judge will postpons the hearing until October 15th or later. Should he insist upon our going to trial on September 17th, the time for preparation would be rather short. I an, however, advising Dr. Lind as to the situation and asking him to hold himself in readiness. Very truly yours, HHBarker:X Vice-President
