Dear Mr. Barker:
I have your letter of October 8. I judge from what
you say that if the judge will give two or three weeks! notice,
that the date of the trial will not fall in October. I hope it
will not be much later than the middle of November as it is very
inconvenient to hold myself in readiness over such a long period.
Please send me a wire as soon as you are informed of
the date.
