Dear Mr. Barker:
I have received your telegram of November 7 stating
that the LaPorte case has been called for November 26 and that
you would like to have me there on December 3. It is a fairly
convenient date for me and I think I will have no difficulty
in making it.

In case some delay should arise, please write me as
to the importance of my being there exactly on Monday, December 3.
If it is important, I am sure that I can make it and would expect
to arrive early Monday morning on the Pennsylvania. Please reserve
a room for me at the Robert Treat Hotel in Newark.
