Dr. Herman Schlundt,
Room 110, New Chemistry Bldg.,
Columbia, Mo.
Re: LaPorte vs. U.S. Radium Corp.
Dear Dr. Schlundt:
The latest information is to the effect that
we can utilize you as a witness in the above case on December
3rd, 4th or 5th, whereby it will be possible for you to return
to Columbia some time late during December 6th.
The matter of a conference on Sunday, December 2nd,
has been waived, and we probably will not have this conference
until some time on December 3rd. You can therefore be guided
by your program as to whether you arrive December 3rd or 2nd.
If possible, I should be glad to have you arrive on Sunday and
spend the night with Mrs. Barker and myself in South Orange.
You will probably find it more convenient to stop at the Robert
Treat Hotel In Newark during the week. Dr. Lind is putting up
there.
lie are preparing considerable information which should
be helpful in giving you the proper perspective for development
of the type of information we are anxious to bring forth, as well
as prepare you for cross examination by the plaintiff's attorney.
We hope this information will go forward some time during the week.
With kind regards, I am,
Very truly yours,
HHBarker:DK
Vice-President
