Dear Mr. Barker:
My delay in writing you has been due to an investigation that
I have been making, and also, the interviewing of the various
City Officials, as I wanted to cover the situation thoroughly
before writing.
It is with pleasure that the City of Orange welcomes you to
return to your old plant located in Orange, and I can assure
you of not only personal cooperation, but full cooperation
from the City officials themselves.
As suggested to you in our interview, I would like for you to
furnish me with whe t information you have regarding the type of
wprk that you are to do, also, to the effect that most of the
hazards of this business have been eliminated and that the
State Labor and Health Board, also, Dr. Martland, have stamped
their approval, as to the number of persons you will employ
now and probably in the future and the approximate time when
you contemplate moving to Orange, and any other information
you might have of value, as I contemplate giving a story to the
paper with the idea of gaining full approval and cooperation
from the citizens at large If you désire, However, to hold
off on the publicity, or announcement, at present, kindly ad-
vise and I will be governed accordingly.
