THERESE CROSS BERGEN OFFICIAL STENOGRAPHER U.S. DISTRICT COURT TELEPHONE MARKET 3-1430 LEFCOURT BUILDING NEWARK, N.J. Feb. 27, 1935 H. H. Barker Esq. United States Radium Corp. 535 Pearl Street, New York City. FEB28 1935 My dear Mr. Barker: I have your letter of February 26th, en- closing check for $178.77. I am returning the check herewith. It is not in accordance with my understanding of the basis of charges in this matter, and I shall endeavor to see Mr. Markley in Jersey City to-morrow to explain the situation to him. I thought I had made it clear yesterday that whatever credit was due to the Radium Corporation would be adjusted on the final bill. The amount of the credits taken by you on the bills already rendered is also incorrect, according to my understanding. Yours very truly Thereis Benga
