Attention: Mr. C. B. Lee. JUN.S 1935 Re: Weber V. U.S. Radium Corp. Dear Mr. Lee:- I have been retaine d by Mr. Harold J. Weber and Harry W. Sherman, his attorney, to handle claims for demages arising from the death of his wife, a former employee of the United States Radium Corporation. She was employed under the name Louise C. Hanle for a period of about two years, which began, I believe, in or about 1919. I am writing to you because I do not know the present position of the insurance companies in connection with their further representation of your company, and so I have thought it best to communicate with you instead of Mr. Markley or Mr. Smith. I would be glad to hear urther from you with respect to the attitude of your company in this particular case. Dr. Martland performed an autopsy on February 22, 1935, four days after Mrs. Weber's death, and found that she had radium poisoning resulting in sarcoma. With kindest personal regards, I remain, Very truly yours, LJE:D LEO/NARD J. EMMERGLICK
