UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA SCHOOL OF CHEMISTRY MINNEAPOLIS July 9, 1935. OFFICES OF THE DEAN AND THE DIRECTOR Mr. H. H. Barker, Vice President, United States Radium Corporation, 535 Pearl Street, New York, N. Y. Dear Barker: A friend of mine who bought about 50 to 100 milligrams of radium several years ago now wishes to dispose of it. Can you tell me where he might possibly find a purchaser? Have you any idea what it might bring at the present time? I think you know the man and that probably he bought part of the radium through you. I refer to Marcus Zimmelman, formerly of New York, who has now moved to Los Angeles. Pre- sumably it is all high grade salt in good condition. Have you had a decision yet? If so, I hope it is favorable. With best regards to Mr. Lea and yourself, Cordially yours, s.c. C. Lind JUL 12 1935 S. C. Lind, SCL:LL Director.
