UNITED STATES RADIUM CORP.
July 17, 1935.
Mr. E. A. Markley,
%Collins & Corbin,
#1 Exchange P1.,
Jersey City, N.J.
Re: Burricelli & Weber vs.
United States Radium Corp.
Dear Mr. Markley*
We are herewith sending you by Registered Mail Actions
at Law in the United States District Court of New Jersey, by
Harold J. Weber, et al, plaintiff, and Anita J. Burricelli, plain-
tiff,vs. United States Radium Corporation.
In accordance with our discussion of even date, I am
sending copies of these Complaints to all the insurance carriers
involved during the period of employment of Burricelli.
On July 11th we sent copies of the Action, in the case of
Weber, et al., and to date have had advice from the New Amsterdam
Casualty Company, and the Globe Indemnity Company, to the effect
that their policies apparently did not cover during the period that
Mrs. Weber was employed by us. We assume that in the case of Weber,
et
al., we shall have to provide defense, and therefore request you
to proceed as necessary.
With reference to Anita J. Burricelli, we are still not
certain but what some of the carriers may feel disposed to provide
defense, but in the meantime, we request that you protect our rights
in this Action.
Very truly yours,
HHBarker: DK
Vice-President
